Enrollment Event: Farm Market Fresh for Older Adults

Do you enjoy fresh produce from the local farmer’s market? LOA has a new program that will give you access to FREE fruits and vegetables at participating farmers’ markets.

Seniors aged 60 and older who are low to moderate income are eligible to apply to Farm Market Fresh (Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program). Qualified seniors will receive $50 worth of free checks to buy fresh produce at participating local farmers’ markets this summer. At the enrollment event, qualified applicants will receive their vouchers that day as well as a list of participating farmers’ markets.

Come to our enrollment event or visit us at one of our booths at these upcoming farmers markets:

• Saturday, June 17, 9am-12pm at the Covington Farmers Market, 134 W Main St, Covington, VA 
• Saturday, June 24, 8am-12pm at the Salem Farmers Market, 3 E Main Street Salem, VA
