The Local Office on Aging’s 32nd annual fundraiser for Meals on Wheels and nutrition services was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday, June 16, 2023. We sold 1,750 boxed lunches which will fund 3,500 nutritious Meals on Wheels.

The Local Office on Aging’s annual fundraiser for Meals on Wheels and nutrition services, Let’s GIVE Lunch is a chance for you to buy lunch AND give lunch to hungry seniors in our community. Each boxed lunch purchased gives you a gourmet deli meal while also giving to Meals on Wheels and Nutrition Services for older adults in our community.

Raffle Winners

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets for our Let’s Give Lunch Raffle 2023! Winners have been chosen at random and are being notified. All prizes are donated by local businesses and supporters of Meals on Wheels; we hope you’ll shop and use their services!

The proceeds from your boxed lunches and raffle tickets all go to Meals on Wheels and Nutrition services. If you would like to make an additional donation to Let’s Give Lunch, we welcome your increased support of these important programs for our older neighbors in need!

Boxed Lunches

The boxed lunch sale on Friday, June 16, offered

• Gourmet deli sandwich: ham, turkey, lettuce, tomato, and provolone cheese on a Kaiser roll
• Vegetarian option: portobello mushrooms, spinach, tomato, red onion, peppers, and provolone and cheddar cheese on a Kaiser roll 
• Included country potato salad, fresh fruit in season, chocolate iced brownie, bottled water, and a souvenir cup. 
• Each purchase of a $20 boxed lunch ticket provided the equivalent of two Meals on Wheels lunches delivered!
