The LOA’s first-ever Affair in Autumn is an exclusive, invitation-only event for our closest friends. Celebrate the Thanksgiving season with others who are just as dedicated to LOA’s mission of supporting older adults in need. We invite you to join us for an exquisite evening of fine food, music, the company of like-minded individuals, and the chance to be a part of the season of giving.

Event Details

  • Event attire is semi-formal.
  • Parking: Jefferson Center uses two paved parking lots and an auxiliary gravel lot on Luck Avenue, as well as a paved lot on the 5th Street side of the building for parking. On-street parking is also available around Jefferson Center, with all on-street parking unrestricted after 5PM. Parking is free at Jefferson Center for all events.
  • The Blue Ridge Catering Company will serve sumptuous hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and dessert, and a cash bar will also be available.
  • Dinner options are a duet entrée of brick chicken & sea bass, or a vegetarian tart duo. If you have other food allergies, please let us know when you RSVP.
  • The music of the Tom Floyd Trio will accompany our time together in the gorgeous Fralin Atrium of the Jefferson Center.
