LOA Let's Give Lunch

The Local Office on Aging’s 34th annual fundraiser for Meals on Wheels and nutrition services, Let’s GIVE Lunch, was held on Friday, June 6 at North Roanoke Baptist Church. Over 1,100 boxed lunches were picked-up or delivered. Each of those meals provides the equivalent of two Meals on Wheels delivered. Thank you for your support!   • You can give an outright cash gift to support Let’s Give Lunch, or you can buy boxed lunches. 
  • 100% of your outright cash gift is tax deductible.
  • $10 of each $20 boxed lunch ticket is tax-deductible. Each boxed lunch sold provides the equivalent of two Meals on Wheels delivered.
  • Your outright gift to Let’s Give Lunch supports Meals on Wheels and LOA’s other nutrition programs for older adults!

Meals on Wheels

Want to make a difference? VOLUNTEER! LOA depends on volunteers for the delivery of Meals on Wheels to the homebound elderly in our community. Delivery sites are located throughout our service area, convenient to your home or office. You can set your own schedule: weekly, monthly, or otherwise!
